Why Baylotte

No Fragrance. No Dye. No Theater.

Most skincare in India is sold on a feeling — a scent, a soft pink color, the word "natural" printed somewhere on the bottle. Baylotte is built on the opposite idea: that real skincare doesn't need to be dressed up to work.

Our formulas have no added fragrance and no added color. That's deliberate. Fragrance and dye are two of the most common causes of skin irritation and sensitization, and neither does anything for your skin's actual function — they're there to make a product feel a certain way, not work a certain way. Because of this, our products don't smell like a candle store and they don't come in a flattering shade. They smell like what they are: an active formula, closer to something you'd find in a lab than a beauty aisle. Many brands selling "natural" and "clean" skincare in India still rely on added fragrance and synthetic dye while marketing around the word — we'd rather you know exactly what you're putting on your skin than feel good about a story.
